My Thoughts
This movie was okay. There's nothing particularly compelling about the plot or characters, but the movie is visually interesting with decent special effects and, well, I personally like anything that has to do with The Woods™. There's a fantastic stop-motion sequence towards the end of the movie that I really loved; to me, the final few scenes of The Evil Dead are the best part. I think that the only reason this movie crept into happy steam emoji territory over bored was that we watched it after the sorry excuse for a horror movie that is Poltergeist but, nevertheless, I'll give it a 6/10. Quintessential Cabin In The Woods horror flick, worth a watch with friends and popcorn (mostly because this is totally the type of movie you can talk over).
